Every number in the calculator comes from a public document, like a fee schedule or a liquor-board guide. We show you the source and the date we checked it. If a province hasn’t published a rate, we tell you that instead of guessing.
Registration
Who you need to register with before you ship
Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and PEI need you to register first. Manitoba, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan don’t.

Provincial fees, markups, HST or GST, and bottle deposits, added up for each order.
Reports
What you have to file, and when
Alberta wants a report every month. Five other provinces want one every quarter. SipCode keeps your shipment records so the report is ready when it’s due. Reporting launches this fall.
